Over the long Memorial Day weekend, Scott and I took a trip up north to Bodega Bay (about 2 hours north of us along PCH 1). Liza also had some time off and her and Linc (her and Robert's fun Golden) drove down from their house to meet us for the day. We took a hike along a very windy and pretty cold part of the coast, had a nice picnic on the beach and played on the beach all day with Linc and Scott's kite. :)
During our picnic, we broke out some Champagne, had some mimosas and toasted to Liza getting into the 200's. (She's studying to be a court reporter and she's now up to 200+ words per minute - OMG - and needs to be in the 220's, I think, to graduate this winter...she's almost there!) It takes a lot of steady practice and studying to get that good.
We also toasted to and wished Robert a happy birthday (his is the 29th) since he was working that weekend and couldn't join us. Don't worry, we'll see you guys in a one more week for Liza's bday and have some more fun!
