Now that we finally had a free weekend with absolutely nothing that needed to be done, we finally decided to break out the Bay Area hikes book again. It's been such awesome weather, still in the mid-70s, and we couldn't pass up an opportunity to be outside. We found a moderate level hike in the Santa Cruz mountains just outside San Jose and spent 4 1/2 hours hiking the trails that went along the edge of the mountain, down to a place where you can camp and along some great rock cliffs. Scott really wants to come back here and do some rock climbing. By far, the best hike we've found in the Bay Area...and holy crap I got a workout!
